Congratulations to our Youth Worker Anna on her recent marriage to Tony!

Marriage:

“[a] lifetime commitment to the person whom you admire most, a voluntary and equal relationship between two people who choose to live their lives as a married couple.”

“for the purpose of founding and maintaining a family”

On Friday 18thNovember, Project 23’s first female youth worker tied the knot with her long-term partner and father of her children, Tony Valente.

They had a beautiful ceremony attended by close friends and family, where it is reported that everyone from the bride and groom to the ushers were in tears by the end of the vows.  This intimate exchange of vows was followed by a rustic reception in the recently renovated Ballydugan Mill, Downpatrick.

Anna looked absolutely stunning in her dress and all credit to her, she decorated the reception beautifully with some very cute and original features.

To all in the office, it was clear that Anna was set to marry the love of her life, and for all those following the count down on Facebook, daily updates illustrated how excited Anna was to become Mrs Valente.

Now that the countdown is over and the lovely couple have had time to let the dust settle, we at the Link Family & Community Centre would just like to offer our congratulations and best wishes as they set off on a new part of their journey together in married life.
